Vita Nova - Mills River, NC

At Vita Nova, we bring new life to vintage finds. I am a mathematician by trade (design and administer pension plans for small employers - just in case you asked). I work from my home in Mills River, NC about 20 hours/week, so that leaves me time to scour western North Carolina for vintage finds and convert them into repurposed furniture: dining tables, craft tables, desks, wine carts, hall trees, custom garage cabinets, custom deck railings, coffee tables, night stands, wine bars, and so on. I never know what I am going to find next and therefore I never know what I am going to make next - unless someone places a special order. We only use what we find and rarely ever purchase anything unless we find a unique item and a great deal. It's amazing what I can find around the western Carolina mountains.
